 An animated film based on the novel of the same name by Kate DiCamillo.
The film follows a young boy who befriends an elephant that has been 
 brought to life by a magician.

Peter Augustus Duchene, a young orphan who embarks on a search for his long-lost sister, is the main character of the movie. He encounters a mystery wizard along the route who summons Agba the elephant. Together, Peter and Agba embark on a search for Peter's sister. On June 9, 2023, The Magician's Elephant had its Tribeca Film Festival debut. On March 10, 2023, Netflix made the movie available to stream. Critics gave the movie positive reviews, praising the animation, voice acting, and plot. The movie was financially successful, earning more than $100 million globally. It received two Annie Award nominations, including Best Writing in an Animated Feature Film and Best Animated Feature Film.
