April O'Neil	A human reporter who becomes friends with the Teenage  Mutant Ninja Turtles. She is a skilled journalist and is always  willing to help the Turtles.
Splinter	A wise rat who is the adoptive father of the Teenage Mutant  Ninja Turtles. He is skilled in ninjutsu and is a mentor to  the Turtles.
Shredder	The main antagonist of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  He is a ruthless crime lord who is determined to destroy  the Turtles.
Krang	A brain-like alien who is Shredder's ally. He is a master of   technology and is always looking for ways to conquer  the world.
Bebop and                  Rocksteady	Two of Shredder's henchmen. They are dim-witted and  violent, but they are loyal to Shredder.

Story Description

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set out to earn the hearts of New Yorkers and be recognised as typical teens after spending years shielded from the outside world. They battle a mystery crime organisation with the aid of their new buddy April O'Neil, but they quickly find themselves in over their heads when a mutant army is unleashed on them. To combat the criminal organisation and the army of mutants, the Turtles must apply all of their knowledge and expertise. If they want to rescue the city, they must also learn to trust and cooperate with one another.
